My father and I played a game: he drew simple shapes on paper and I transformed them into all kinds of designs and objects. I continued to follow my passion, studying graphic design and illustration at the University of Oregon. More recently, I studied Visual Communication Design in graduate school at Kent State University.
In my work, I’ve collaborated with dozens of clients to forge identities, strengthen information with strong visuals and produce a range of high-tech and low-tech materials. I’ve won awards. I’ve taught hundreds of students the power of typography and design.
After more than 20 years in the field, I still get a thrill from transforming ideas into the logos, print work (brochures, booklets, annual reports, posters, books, etc.) or websites my clients seek.
